To be fair, if I remember correctly, vampires are renamed by their maker. Whether that's better or worse is up to you. Because they still terrible names.

Oh, but these ones aren't vampires. They're were-tigers. So their PARENTS are at fault, not a vampire.

Well, there are a LOT of weirdly named characters in this book. Other characters have names like Domino.

I guess if you live a really long time, you REALLY want your name to be memorable?
