The secret poster is right - that DOES spell va. Maybe you should double check before you feel the need to prove yourself superior.

Actually, it can be pronounced -either- way.

Which is why we get so many scanlations that translate 「バィオリン」as "biolin" instead of "violin".

Linguistics, crazy stuff.

If you look carefully at what you wrote, you'll notice that you actually used a different type of katakana combination from the Secret. The combination in the secret is actually only used to write "va". It's the katakana "ウ" plus another vocal, that creates the "v" sound. The confusion on "b" or "v" only arise when you use バ、ビ、ブ、ベ　or ボ.

だったら、もっときれいな言葉を使ったらどうでしょうか？はっきりしたら、怒らせるところがなくなるかもしれません。

（っていうか、現実的に見たら、何の言葉を使っても、怒らせる人が多いでしょうね）

「差し出口」のは「uncalled for」って言う意味です。
