Though on that note, I actually had a client today who had the first name Karma. no joke. I guess her parents could have been hippies too.

Karma is a pretty common name.

No it isn't. In the US there has never been more than 374 babies named Karma born in any given year.

I love this comment since your username looks like a play on Karma Chameleon. It's like you hate the idea of using Karma as any kind of name so you had to replace it with something else.

I don't watch this show, but names like that tend to mean a character had hippie parents.

From the other secrets I've seen about this show, it's apparently used for jokes about how Karma's a bitch.

It's a pun. They just wanted to say "Karma's a bitch."

Only saw a few episodes but feel free to spoil it for me. So the girl who is actually a lesbian and the fake lesbian don't get together? I mean... the fake lesbian was clearly not a lesbian but from what I saw, the show was still trying to build up the possibility on the lesbian's side, but fake lesbian was obviously fake lesbian.

The show was dropping hints that the "fake lesbian" was bi and was getting jealous. But it was cancelled before it ever went anywhere with it.

Which was really the show's own fault for wasting time on pointless storylines when they knew they had low ratings.

Amy, the real lesbian (well, it's kind of ambiguous whether or not she's actually a lesbian, there were a couple guys she seemed at least somewhat into, although I don't know if her feelings for them were genuine and she was actually bi or if she was still somewhat in denial/trying to be straight) ends up with this other girl. Karma, the fake lesbian (although she was apparently going to end up being bi maybe) ended up with this dude that Amy kind of had a thing with briefly.

There was an interview with the showrunner released after the series finale, where he said Amy and Karma would've gotten together eventually, but it ultimately wouldn't have worked out and they would've decided they were better off as friends. Whether that was because Karma realized she really was straight, or for other reasons, I don't know.

My name for this show is The Lauren Show because by season 2 I think she was the only one I really cared about. And I liked her with Liam, too, but like...my only interaction with The Lauren Show fandom is on autostraddle and everyone hates Liam there. There isn't much about the show they don't hate.

Karma was terrible

I don't watch the show, but those two white guys look almost identical, it's creepy and confusing. 👎

One has a chin so huge you can't miss it, the other has huge lips.

This show is awful. Why do they keep making it?

They don't, it ended.

The main issue with Karma is that she wouldn't shit or get off the pot regarding her relationship with Amy.

Out of verse, the writers seemed to think that the show could only go for as long as they could drag out the "will they or won't they?" plotline re: Karmy, and so it's not a surprise to me the show tanked in the third season when people got tired of that bullshit.

My unpopular opinion is that I don't mind Karma or Liam and even more unpopular I didn't mind Liam/Karma, but it was also obvious the show had no plan to go anywhere with it so I wish they'd just moved on sooner.
