lol b/c insensitive and homophobic straight people, the daily pain, inconvenience, and anxiety of a chronic illness, and the damage alcoholism does to the lives of both its suffers and those around them are.....totally new trendy tumblr things, right

I'll empathize with the chronic illness stuff; it can make everything even more horrible. I'm lucky that my family is as liberal as I am, so we never fight about political issues and no one is homophobic. But even on good days, other people's insensitivity can make me go over the edge when I have a day of pain from illness.
I hope we can all get to the point where we don't have to scream about homophobia, etc. (By the way, when I first typed that sentence, I typed "homophones". I hope that could make you laugh while screaming)
