It's less about his body and more about the character he played/plays. Bad boys are attractive. Hurting bad boys are WAY attractive. IMO, of course.

The entire package is extremely appealing. He's functionally fit. Which given that Dean fights monsters for a living, means that his character looks like he ought to.

And yeah, imo, that's a good thing.

My general favorite type is usually a bit more muscular than him, but he still does it for me. And Sam doesn't at all. Not sure why other than that he's blonde and I really like blondes.

I don't really find ripped guys any more (or less) attractive than slender guys, average weight toned guys, or muscular guys with a layer of pudge on top. They can all be super hot. And I think Jensen's face is gorgeous, and his body definitely falls into the "hot" range for me.

Looks-wise he's not really my type, either, but I do get why women go nuts over him.

And I've not seen anything he's been in, or any interviews with him. Maybe if I saw "Supernatural" or watched an interview or something that might change my opinion a little, too.

(Mind, I know that it's hard to really "know" a celebrity through interviews and their characters and whatnot, but still...sometimes seeing them in action, or showing off their sense of humor, can add to their charisma.)

It's already been said, but: not everyone is even into super 'ripped' men. Sometimes people like a leaner build, while still being 'fit'.

I'm into both, and I've always found Jensen attractive, but he isn't my #1 celebrity crush or anything.

He's toned and broad-shouldered, well-proportioned, he's got a nice ass, very pretty green eyes, and lovely lips. He's also got an amazing smile and, generally, the character's cockiness and determination look really good on him. But if that doesn't do it for you, then it doesn't do it for you.

I'm not into this show or actor. For me, when I'm attracted to someone, it's about the way they express themselves, the character they portray (or, irl, show), personality, sense of humor, smile, compassion, etc. Looks become a part of the package, but it's very rare I take one look at an actor or person and think "wow such hot." I'm sure I'm not the only one!

Later, as you grow attached to a character or a person IRL, you start to find more and more things about them attractive. I think that's really great. I don't want to be "objective" about the people i find attractive, especially not if it's all based on dumb things like muscle mass.

Ripped guys always make me wonder how long are they at the gym?

There's decently fit and then there's so fit you know you're never going to see them, because they're too busy maintaining it.
