Formal business is easy mode, unless you're talking that delicate area of less dressy than that to put people at ease but still giving a professional air.

Well most of the time my various jobs have had that indistinct "casual" dress code. Which means be less dressed than business casual and more dressed than street clothes, which is actually hardened mode since you really do want people to be comfortable and feel cared for but also remain authoritative in case there are incidents to handle.
