Well, you heard it here, whiny women on the internet: your pain and fear is irrelevant because bad things happen to a lot of people.

Stop crying about it and bootstrap. A female character in an action movie did it! After all, your whinging means you're in a simpering weeping pile on the floor, refusing to move on, not that you're venting right now and keeping on with your life as best you can.

Why aren't you smiling? Women aren't pretty or strong when they complain.

Yep, this. Oh, what's that again? A fictional person fought through the oain to kick ass? I'll be sure to let my aunt who's sick as a dog from chemo that she should stop dry heaving and kying in bed because some internet genius suddenly realized that life sucks in lots of ways for lots of people, but all of it is exactly the same. Why, she doesn't know it yet, but cancer is just like being a little but afraid about putting yourself out there!
