I think Civil War IS really good for characterization (also AoU was not, so it stands out) The Iron Man movies were decent for characterization,just a pity any character development was pretty much ignored.

I think I misunderstood you entirely then. I guess what I like about Tony is that they do make a lot come from a place of PTSD, and it works for him. Like, I find his personality in combination wit interesting.

I'm still so happy about Natasha in Winter Soldier. Yeah, she's quite different from the comics, but they let her be bad-ass, and sill sort of vulnerable and not a romantic interest.

I find Steve interesting, because it would be so easy to make him a pedantic goody-two-shoes, but he's not, while he still stays true to his morals, you know?
