Preacher
Anyone else watching this? Anyone read the comics (I haven't) and liking/disliking anything so far with the adaptation?
Anyone else shipping Cassidy and Jesse hard? >.>
Re: Preacher
(Anonymous) 2016-06-28 05:10 am (UTC)(link)I don't get the scenes with the Cowboy, though. Until this week's episode, I completely forgot he was even in the show. Obviously, his story has to do with the overall narrative, but there doesn't seem to be a connection yet, and every time his scenes are happening, I'm like, "What show is this, and when can we get back to Preacher?"
As for Jesse/Cassidy, I don't ship it myself but I could totally see why it'd be a ship. (Cassidy's actor even called Jesee's a "golden Adonis," and that got the ship tease engines roaring in my head.) They definitely do have that challenging banter that works well in a love/hate sort of thing. And now with the Cassidy/Tulip stuff in the makings, it should be pretty interesting to see how this "triangle" comes to play -- not even in a romantic tension sort of way, but just character interaction.
