Pontypool is an excellent film, but it has way more in common with a zombie flick than anything at all to do with vampires. I don't know who could watch it and come to a vampire conclusion.

The premise is wonderful and original, imo. I don't know that I trust the taste of anyone who looks into what Pontypool is about and thinks 'dumb'. But you do you.
