I'm not sure, they're sort of sugarcoated nuts? Often almonds, yes, but don't think they're the one described in the other thread.

No, not salty at all. They're all sweet; It's like hard, caramelized stuff.

Huh. Those look exactly like beer nuts.

Maybe the version here is slightly different than the versions there. Then again, I have had some versions of beer nuts that are entirely sweet and not salty at all.

We have beer nuts here, too. They're not the same. Like, these are also generally roasted by hand ad don't come out a a supermarket.

We call those cinnamon roasted nuts (popular at fairs and such). Kind of hard-glazed on the outside? They are delicious.
