(Anonymous) 2016-06-30 02:17 pm (UTC)(link)B) A lot of the things people demand 'trigger' warnings for really ARE for things they just don't like. So yeah, trigger (or content) warnings for, say, child abuse make sense. Trigger warnings because a blog post mentions a ship you don't like? Fuck right off.
C) Some of us who complain about overuse of trigger warnings are doing so because we have triggers and we do have panic attacks and flashbacks and we would like the term to not be diluted so that people say 'oh you just don't like it'.
