Lol, just watched this tonight. *spoilers - kind of. not really* Still don't understand if he had to stop the bite's effects at the neck why he basically welded a bunch of metal to his arm and shoulder. Looks hella dumb.

I certainly agree. His skin has this really weird, pallid green color to it now, which Mumei and that other kabane girl definitely did not have.

I think the pallor is because of how he transformed, since he didn't have purified blood and apparently men are shit at it anyways. His new haircut is awful, but samurai's new hair is pretty nice.

This reminds me of every movie "plain" girl transformation into pretty.

Asides from his hair, and being shirtless and covered in scars, he doesn't look that different

I mean, he is buff, but for all we know, he could have been just as buff underneath those clothes in the left image

Also, is that like a harness thing or is he part robot and that's what the secret means by 'transformation'?
