I'm a mix of Hermione and Ginny myself. I was such a know-it-all as a kid but I've always been defined by being a redhead and a little sister to my brother too. Even the way Ginny is suddenly noticed way more in the sixth book that people complain about goes right along with my experience when I somehow became part of my brother's group of friends rather than just the little sister who was always hanging around.

I was always the kid who spoke up in class, and I have been called a know-it-all quite a few times. And I always had a strong sense of right and wrong and wasn't shy about saying so, which did not make me popular at my conservative religious school. But I was also the shy, awkward bullied kid who was a klutz. Those were the two things I was known for. My other big trait was my imagination, which doesn't really fit any of the Potter characters.

I'm still the kid who speaks up in class. Every semester there comes a point where I'm finally told to shut up and let someone else answer a question occasionally. Not in those words, but you know. I've been getting better at waiting to make sure no one else is going to answer before opening my mouth though.

I was too all the way through law school. It was actually especially helpful in law school because I was not cold called nearly as often as others because I spoke up on my own so often.
