No, more like I'd rather have sex with a friend than a romantic interest, acquaintance rather than a friend, and stranger rather than an acquaintance because knowing the person makes them more sexually unattractive to me. Romantically attractive is a different thing and intimacy is cool. The sex goes in the opposite direction.
