Of course not. Hets, gays, and trans, need to tell because they are engaging in an active state. It will be something that affects the lives of others. Asexuals are doing nothing, there is nothing that impinges on anyone elses awareness. It is a null state.

The only reason to make some sort of declaration would be for attention, and someone desiring attention like that is not going to be an asexual. They are an attention whore.
