I'm getting the feeling that I'm one of the few who actually liked the ending XD. I guess it's because it sealed the whole creepfest for me.

I got the ending, I understood what the authors were getting at... but all the same, it was just so... creepily bleak?

Okay; I won't deny it. I was hoping for Stan, Kenny and Austin (and maybe Jason) coming in guns blazing (metaphorically... or perhaps not) and taking them down.

Even though that would have been a cheesy and unoriginal ending.

I'd still have found it satisfying. :|

From what I've heard with others in discussions on the fic, it seems they were expecting something similar.

I guess I liked it because I was hoping for something creepily bleak. While the branding was IT, I actually found Stan's sentiments at the end to be the creepiest part: "and we'll be together. Forever." Because that's the way Kyle had been the whole time, and while he didn't even realise it, Stan was changing as well.

I think the part that saddened me the most was actually Stan's falling out with Austin... I knew it would come, but I still hated seeing it happen. At least Kenny and Austin clicked so well.
