01. For the record, self-insert OC doesn't always equal Mary Sue. Although, especially if the writer is younger, it usually does. But kudos for getting back on the horse.

05. You should try finding yourself suddenly a rabid M*A*S*H fangirl. Now that's a fandom whose heyday has passed.


14. Y'know, I thought he was absolutely adorable in it. I remember back in the day, thinking if he'd only been a little older when the movies had been filmed (about the age he is now, maybe) he would've been a perfect Pippin. It was pretty fun when I did watch it.


23. I'm not sure if I'm annoyed or confused, but I can't help but think you missed the point of one of those things.

38. Sorry, she continues to terrify and disgust me. I think she's meant to, honestly, and I have to give kudos to the writing if they really intended for their main character to reveal disturbing and unlikeable layers of her personality. But seriously. I just kind of hate Gwen. She terrifies me.


47. Life on Mars! Aw...did like it? Or just liked that other thing better?


48. Harpo-secrets are always awesome, but I can't help but think this may be a repeat. Ah well, who cares. Harpo rules.


50. Pietro/Wanda squicks me a bit, but it's definately canon (in Ult anyway). Though I think it would be cute if Toad had a little crush on her. (Dangit, where's Toad? He's back being buddies with Scott, so let's see him already!)

57. Never seen the movie, only read the comic by-poxy (some bits and pieces here and there), but...I kind of hate Keanu Reeve, and I can't take him seriously in anything. Also, bitter, snarky, chain-smoking Brit>Keanu Reeve trying to be whatever. Like the comic or not, that's one poor bit of decision making, I find.

XDD I was actually looking for the shippyness as I was reading and I never found any, which shames me because I'm pretty good at pulling ships out of nothing.

I don't think they have that element in their friendship, personally. You're not alone.

Regarding 35, the logo is referring to Anonymous (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymous_%28group%29):they were holding worldwide protests (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Chanology) against the abuses/fraud of Scientology (the business, not the individual right to believe in what you want) on February and March recently.

I heard the London one was pretty ginormous, at least 500 people in attendance?

Ahhh... Didn't click. I don't know much about them beyond the protests. Gotta admit, the London one would've been fantastic, but I probably would've been there just to pretend I was recreating the final scene in V for Vendetta...

Yeah, and I heart his little crush there like woah. And he had...well, it went past crush straight to obsession with her in the original 616 universe, but I'm fairly sure that now that he's had years of therapy, medication, and finally some Prosh-style gene therapy, he's over that.
Honestly, I just kind of want to see more of Toad. He's my favourite X-men character in whichever universe. I just hope he gets well developed now that he's back in Ulti, more or less, but then again, I'm not so impressed with the writer right now, so... *shrug*

Sorry? Because I think that underneath the "Oh, look, she provides a bit of 'humanity' to the team" that she's very shallow. She's a bit like Cameron from House. I'm sorry, she rubbed me the wrong way since episode one, but after watching her drug Rhys and try and force a forgiveness out of him in that creepy, panicked scene...she's terrified me. Poor Rhys. A person who thinks of themselves as a good person and still does things like that is far more frightening than a person like, say, Jack, who knows he's not a good person, really.

TL;DR--Piss off. People have differing opinions, dick.

50 - I think it's just a fine tribute to how incredibly fucked up Magneto is. In the regular Marvel universe, they didn't find out Magneto was their father until later - they were raised by gypsies. XD Given the chance, Magneto would have messed their heads up to the point of them... yanno.

And Toad? A little too Evolution for my tastes, but... hey, whatever floats yer boat. :-)

Well, he had a crush/obsession on her in 616 as well. I'd like to see it done in a way that wasn't quite so adorable-puppy-pathetic. Something more in keeping with the character that he seems to be in Ultimate--fairly capable, British punk, with a heavy bit of snark thrown in, and a little bit nerd (three hours on the phone talking about LotR? Nerd!).
