Matthew Fox, Maggie Grace, Jeremy Davies may have brown eyes in real life but on the show they have either hazel or green hazel eyes. And Dan is not even a main cast member!

Here's a pic (http://www.screen-caps.com/SciFi/Lost/Season1/Episode1/LostS1E1001.jpg) of the first episode of season one where Jack opens his eyes. His iris is green with flecks of brown around the pupil. But none the less they are hazel-green.

Thing is, they even did this with Ben as well. One episode he'll have blue grey eyes (http://www.screen-caps.com/SciFi/Lost/Season4/Episode2/LostS4E2-189.jpg) and then suddenly, depending who he is talking to, they'll turn green. (http://gallery.lost-media.com/displayimage-1300-539.html)

Well, you know, television photography can be tricky. Though I concede sometimes these color variations can be intentional - in fact, Jack's eyes actually look blue in one specific episode (1x05, White Rabbit: the flashback scene at the airport counter), I don't really subscribe to the idea that there is some agenda in the Lost production to subverse fair-skinned browned-eyes types. ;)

Besides, I don't believe Dan's eye color has been tinkered with (yet?), and I maintain Jeremy Davies has held main cast member status since his first episode.

"Yet" indeed.

While I don't think there is an anti-brown eye thing going on by the writers, there has to be a purpose as to why they keep messing with everyone's eye colors. Here's a gaff picture of Alex. The actress who plays her normally has brown eyes but for the show she wears blue contacts. Now in this pic we can see one slipping out of place.

I hope they don't give Danny blue or green eyes. Brown eyes suit him best. Big brown puppy dog eyes because he's always bounding around like a clumsy puppy. Which your icon proves it. And, yes, icon love all around.
