I am so sick of this movie. I'm sick of the manbabies, and I'm sick of the secrets like this one. I'm sick of it all. I hate this film on principle and will never watch it solely due to the exasperating wank it's caused all over the internet.

Literally the majority of backlash has been against that it looks like utter shit, and then again when Sony started claiming misogyny at every turn.

My first reaction to the trailers: Meh. Watch it at home, maybe.
My second reaction, after being told I have internal misogyny for not being excited: I hope this movie flops to hell and dies.

Basically. There have been much worse-looking movies, including other remakes, that didn't get the amount of negative backlash that this one has been getting. GEE I wonder what's different about this one...

Depends on what you consider the first wave. Was it the trailer drop just by itself or was it when Sony started deleting comments? Because they had to have had a game plan set up and an agenda prepicked to start doing so.

Trash is trash. If we want equality we shouldn't think higher of trash just because it has women in it.
