Favorite One-Scene-Wonders

You know how sometimes in a movie (or a show or book too sometimes) there will be a character who only shows up in one scene, but DAMN they are amazing and memorable in that one scene?

What are your faves?

The "Son, you've got a condition" guy who talks to Bruce in the Avengers.

Also that guy played by Ned Beatty who delivers that long rant in the film "Network."

That's Harry Dean Stanton, who played Brett in 'Alien'. He rocks.

Well, I wouldn't call her a one-scene wonder, since she's only in one episode (and only mentioned in that one episode I might add), but I'm going with Iranda from the TV series "Dragon Flyz". What makes her so memorable for me is here is the woman in a ball gown (for lack of better description) who's going to a post Cataclysmic location on Earth to do research (and somehow trips a portal to a spaceship but can't figure out how to reverse it to get herself home, but whatever)

Hell, her very existence just opens up so much you can do if you're a writer. How did she get down to Old Earth? What was her role on Airlandis? What did she find that made her go down to Old Earth? (Why hasn't she aged in seventeen years..?)

(The first) Lancelot in Kingsman. That scene was beautifully choreographed and it was a really cool way to introduce a character. (Then...ah...well, you know.)

Oh, and the old man in Avengers who stands up to Loki. (As well as the guy who finds Bruce, but that one's already been mentioned.)

Does Gogo Yubari count? Probably not...think she was in more than one scene, but she didn't have many scenes and she's one of my favorite parts of Kill Bill.

Old Man Who Tells Off Loki is my favorite character in the whole MCU.

The young ginger policeman in A Scandal in Belgravia (Sherlock Season 2, Episode 1). He was just so cute.

I've had a fic planned for ages, in which he turns out to be Mycroft's too sweet for his own good hubby and has a crime solving adventure with Sherlock and John. But I'm too lazy to actually write it. And Season 3 was pretty terrible anyway...
