I cleaned the interior of my car which had a bunch of small food and coffee stains. I was not impressed since I'm not the person who eats in the car, but at least now everything is nice again.

Finished moving out of my old apartment and am now surrounded by boxes in my new apartment. And I went to an awesome new ice cream place!

My car used to be my mom's. I'm on good terms with my mom at the moment so I don't wanna say anything too bad but I swear to god, how do you get cigarette burns like that on the side of the driver's door?! I've had it for a few years now but I still worry that it smells like smoke to others, as a non-smoker it's a little embarrassing.

Kissed the boyfriend goodbye, then packed my bags for my weekend trip to Helsinki and Tuska Open Air. I've had fuck all sleep all day and I've been on my way since 15:30 yesterday. I'm only at Arlanda Airport still and I need to sleep soon.

Worked. Then cleaned the bathroom because we're having a giant party at my house this weekend.

Sidenote: painting is done at my place and it looks awesome! I went with color is most of the rooms and I'm super happy with it! The coolest room is probably the one bathroom where I did grey on the bottom, a black chair rail, and white on top.

I made some doctor'"s appointments. Played some games on Facebook. Went to work. Ate. now I'm here. Everything sort of sucks.

Went to the grocery store, forgot two of the things on the list I had with me because I was pissed about being at the grocery store again (I swear I'm there every few days and frankly I'm sick of the place), so now have to go back to the store, AGAIN.

Tried to nap, couldn't sleep. Applied for 5 jobs and spent several hours searching for other jobs.

I rummaged around for the bits and pieces I'd need for D&D on the weekend, found the dice I wanted and grabbed some extras for the people that will need them(since I am the dice lady of our group).

I did a load of washing, sorted out picture frames (keep, (toss, opp shop) and hid larger pictures in the wardrobe. Vacuumed out said wardrobe beforehand.

When I sat down for a breather I called my mum who's got a bad cold.

It's still only just after 10 am.

I met up with my best friend at the barn and groomed my horse, then helped her put some medicine on one of her horses. We just found out that the barn owner keeps her two boys in pens with no water and ankle-deep mud overnight after their evening meals, which is why her two horses now have white line disease (it's a potentially-fatal hoof condition). The one we were putting medicine on has also developed rain rot on his back and has a terrible sunburn, the poor baby. Anyway, she spoke to the guy who runs the place and now they won't be fed in those muddy pens anymore and will be allowed to stay out at night, thank goodness. That'll also make things easier on me, because my mom and I are going to be feeding the horses for the next week while the barn's owners are out of town.

Went to work, didn't get much done, since most of my team is out of the office. Just had one meeting to break out some of our design decisions for our product. Which was kind of unsatisfying because the conclusion was "the way we're doing this is suboptimal but given the time we have and the people we have working on it, it's probably impossible to do it the right way". But it's nice to get it nailed down I guess.

I also had lunch with my mother, which was fine. It's always nice to see her.

Finally (and separately) I've been really anxious and crappy and low all day, so that's not been so good. But what can you do.

Son I haven't eaten in your car for like a year and I did clean it out last fall, so unless you're talking about your mom or your cat, it was you.

This was the last day, and I took the second part of my certification that I started last year and passed a lot better :D

Attacked my hoarder heap, cleared out more of my bedroom, got new work shoes, picked out new eyeglasses, got the ingredients for tabouli and spicy sesame tofu, and now I should probably get chopping. On the one hand, it's hot out and I don't want to turn on the oven to bake the tofu, on the other, it's cooler now in the evening than it'll be this weekend and it'll save me having to turn on the oven at all for a couple of days if I have a bunch of food that's better eaten cold already prepped.

Quietly told the male building manager that SONEONE PISSED EVERYWHERE IN THE LADIES.

I have also made many phone calls, organised 2 events, solved a software security issue, found another, followed up on new employee, got some cake and now I'm going to lunch

Went for a bunch of walks along the coast which was nice. It's beautiful here.

I had the day off, so I slept in, and spent most of the day laying in bed, watching TV, reading, watching YouTube videos, and playing games on my phone. I also did some dishes and straightened up the kitchen a bit. Right now I'm waiting for these peanut butter cookie bar things I made to finish baking, then I'm going to go take a shower. Then probably watch TV/read some more and attempt to get a few hours of sleep before work.

Drank cinnamon tea, went for a very long walk, went to a very overcrowded grocery store to get peppers and saffron and other things, took some slow buses back home, listened to Latin and Celtic music and watched La Dolce Vita on TV.
