I...don't really think so? I mean, if would be great if he did - but like you, he might have had many reasons not to. Like, not wanting to interfere with a child that is not his. you're literally blaming someone for doing the same as you.

Biker dude is significantly more likely to get seriously hurt in that situation for getting involved.

And that still doesn't excuse you for not calling the cops.

If you ask the police, nobody has an obligation to "step in" during a potentially violent situation. Everyone, however, has at the very least a moral obligation to call the police. So stick your shitty excuses where the sun doesn't shine, you are part of the problem.
