What's in the Lego Star Wars game? I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet, but really want to because I loved the first two Star Wars ones.

Hux has such a small role in the movie that you could go in so many directions with his character and some people take it a bit far.

He's walking around with pink ice cream and has a pink and yellow aerobic costume, and that just fits the "pastel Hux" fad that's been going on.

That sounds like typical Lego Star Wars shenanigans but not what I'd picture for Hux at all.

I like the fics where he's the calm, cool, collected Hux.

True. It's the whole Lego shtick, being as random as they possibly can, so I don't really resent them for it. But what fandom does with it is a bit annoying (ugh, I know, I sound so much like some "stop having fun" granny but it's just... a little too much). It was the same with Matt the Radar Technician.
I'm also pretty weirded out by the parts of the fandom who actually say "the Lego Star Wars game is canon". What even?

Calm, cool and collected Hux is my favourite as well, so all this "Pastell fluffy Hux Wuxy (as someone on the kink meme called it)" kind of hurts my fannish little heart X'D

No no, Lego Star Wars is never canon! That's what makes it so fun and ridiculous. The TV series is even sillier than the games, but it's all in good fun.

I've found that I really like Relyux lately. Some authors do it really well and I love the dynamic of Rey, Kylo, and Hux, but that's just me. Codega, A Dance of Titans and Breaking Point are my three favorites.

Any good recs on Hux fics? He's so underappreciated on his own.

Thanks for reminding me that I still wanted to take a look at the TV series :D

Eh, Reylux is personally one of my absolute NOTPs, but it's nice that people seem to be writing it well. It's just really, really not for me.

Currently, I'm very fond of a semi-AU Kylux fic with a Senator Ren premise - it's definitely well written and has some really interesting world-building for the First Order (Idols and Dead Men by Sath). I have found very little Hux Genfic so far (at least some that I liked), unfortunately.

I have a few WIPs on my watchlist but I'm really behind in reading atm, so I'm not 100% sure which ones are any good, sorry. I might get back to you when I sorted through it though!
