Isaac Clarke had to work his entire way through an inferior college because his cultist mother blew the family's savings. Through sheer will, he worked towards a reasonably respectable position as an emergency response engineer for a mining company. This resulted in him being dispatched to zombie apocalypse ground zero. He survived, only to be kidnapped by the cult that fucked his family up and used in experiments to spread the zombie apocalypse even farther. He lost his mind but survived anyway. Then he was asked to help fight the zombie apocalypse and possibly survived again, but it doesn't matter because he fucked up so bad that an entire zombie moon is going to kill fucking everyone.
