Abusers aren't abusers because of the patriarchy, or because "society values violence". They're abusers because there's something wrong with them psychologically. They're sick, selfish people that can't have any real respect for other's well-being or bodily autonomy, regardless of their gender or other people's.

I'm sorry, there is far more evidence to suggest violence and abuse comes from masculinity than from any other psychological disorder..

By "more" you mean "none" huh? Google "why do abusers abuse" and almost all of the results will list one or all of 3 reasons:

1) cycle of abuse/intergenerational abuse (learned abuse behavior)
2) psychopathology (mental/behavior disorders)
3) lack of empathy (which really ties into #2 but people mention it separately).

Meanwhile, there are many studies that back up the pyschopathology theory. Here's one: Personality correlates of men who abuse their partners: A cross-validation study.

"Further, as with the initial study, only about 12% of the subjects in the present effort showed no discernable psychopathology. "

If you'd like to link to some peer-reviewed, reproducible evidence showing that the majority of abusers abuse because of masculinity rather than psychological disorder, feel free. But you probably can't, because "the patriarchy causes it!!!" is of the "And then God created the great creatures of the sea" evidence type.
