Yes, I've had many parents like that. One parent had his son knock all of the toys off of a shelf as they were leaving. He started trying to pick them up, but his kid ran off. He went to his kid, leaving the toys, and actually saying "well, that's your job anyway." What? And then we have had parents saying we are lazy because the kids aren't potty trained yet. JFC, people. A lot of the time it is something about potty training. I have no idea why so many parents are so hung up by that. I swear that if your child isn't potty trained by age three or even four it doesn't mean that they are going to drop out of high school or anything.

But...why do they think it's your job to potty train them in the first place? It's THEIR job.

(I wasn't potty trained until four and it drove my mom nuts. She didn't put a lot of effort into it at first because she went with some new agey parenting philosophy that kids would potty train themselves when they were ~ready. She regretted it and potty trained my siblings a lot earlier.)
