Of course I'm opposed to the government forbidding you from saying nasty sexist racist homophobic garbage. I'm not at all opposed to private businesses or individuals refusing to do business or associate with you for saying those things. Freedom of speech=freedom to take the consequences, which should not include government persecution but may very well include large groups of people thinking you're a bigot and treating you accordingly.

Trust me, I'm not going to lose any sleep over someone who thinks political correctness is an actual threat to society thinking I'm humorless, and I'd be irked that you think I'm opposed to free speech but something tells me you don't actually know what that term means. I am really curious though as to why you think I'm regressive. That just puzzles me - what about my stance on political-correctness-reactionaries (for lack of a better term) says "regressive" to you?
