Oh please, don't kid yourself. The vast majority of HateTwi I've seen on the internet has been from 20-something dudebros. I'll never forget the dudebro blogger proclaiming that any woman who liked Twilight should be "punched in the vagina."

Like, really allow the misogyny of that statement to sink in. "Punched in the vagina." Just let that sink in.

There is an insane amount of hatred toward female-directed media from dudes like this. I remember reading a review of one of the Sex and the City movies that ('jokingly") advocated burning Sarah Jessica Parker alive. This was a mainstream review (not a blogger), BTW.
