I'm sorry you're getting such bitchy replies to this.

I couldn't agree more with you.

"Hugged like brothers" my arse. Hell in the film (It's been a long time since I've read the book he might say it there too) Snape even points out that even HE knows they are fucking "Bickering like an old married couple".

It is painfully obvious and Remus just really never seemed to be that happy with his relationship with Tonks. It just seemed like he was with her to fill the void of missing Sirius.

So I agree with you.

In the same film, Hermione tells Sirius he will have to kill them first. In the book, it's Ron. Also, Remus's werewolf form looks like a mixture of Gollum and a greyhound; JK Rowling's werewolf looks like a wolf. (There is a discussion on how to tell a real wolf from a werewolf in Prisoner of Azkaban, when Snape substitutes DADA for Remus.)

Suffice to say, the movies are not canon.

Agreed. Remus/Sirius is totally movie canon. Sadly, the movies suck.

I kind of think it was the director's point of view there though. I mean, he described Remus as a "gay druggie" to the actor, I do believe (a video of the actor saying it was posted somewhere, I can dig it up).
So yeah, Alphonso probably did at least think that Remus was gay.

BUT there is no one saying that BOTH couldn't be true. He could be bisexual.

That said; Remus/Tonks was VERY poorly written. Your new!husband's all depressed and you're happy-go-lucky? Weeeeird.

I can level with you on that. I admit I really shouldn't have brought up the film in talking about this (The film was rather wanky at times).

So please just strike that I talked about it, because I honestly agree with you on that front.

I think he could indeed be bisexual, I just... don't see him with Tonks very well is all I guess. I felt that whole thing was written poorly.

Yeah! Exactly... omg EXACTLY. THANK YOU!

*Smiles*.

I THINK that the Remus/Tonks relationship had potential. I'm just saying. But yeah, as has been said; it was very poorly written and pushed on us.

I think it had potential, but got no where bloody near it. I must admit part of that for me is I don't know if Remus could honestly get over losing Sirius (In my opinion his love) without taking a long time to doing it.

Yeah, I completely agree, which is just lame and sad that it was done. I hate it when things are poorly written.
