1. See I'm one of those people who likes sociopaths/psychopaths, because they're interesting characters and not because they're hot and redeemable. I LIKE THEM BECAUSE THEY'RE IRREDEEMABLE BECAUSE IT MAKES THEM INTERESTING, DAMMIT. Ngh.

It's why I hate "hero" characters unless there's something vaguely antihero-ish about them. Straight-up heroes are boring.

I agree. I like Cartman cause he's so fucked up, not because I think he can be redeemed or is misunderstood. He's an asshole and is the epitome of everything wrong with the world. And I love him for it.

Yeah, but I'm failing at even that, because I find myself making excuses for Illidan, and wanting to believe he could be redeemed. and I SWORE I'd never do that for any villain. :(
