You are far luckier with your hair than I...

I guess I can see it happening if someone has really fine/thin/wispy hair. Mine is thick and straight and all it really does is hang there. On the plus side, bedhead is a thing that never happens to me.

My hair is actually very thick, but it's also wavy and frizzy. It doesn't all clump together; many different bits can by flying around especially if it's windy. It also looks like ass if I wear it down without extra maintenance, so I almost always have it up in a braid or at least a ponytail (which can still fly around a lot when I'm driving)

Same here. Long, thick, curly and always in my way. I'm constantly in motion at work; it is labor intensive and subject to the elements. My hair gets damp with sweat, blows in my face (both obscuring vision and just whipping me in the face, which is annoying and distracting) AND gets caught on things. I cannot stand working without my hair pulled back, although I usually use a bandana or yoga style headband because, like you said, ponytails still get in the way. :p

I get the impression that I am a lot. People ask me how I can stand to have such long hair all the time (it's down past my belly button) and I'm always surprised to hear the stunning array of problems I'm supposed to be dealing with.
