I hated the last 20 minutes of The Martian because of the changes they made. I loved the rest of the movie, though.

I really need to read the book. Is the Tolkien reference stuff in the book, though? I loved that scene so much, especially the Glorfindel reference. It made my nerdy heart happy.

I can't remember, tbh. I read it so long ago. I don't think it was but I am not 100% on that.
