What's a good drawing tablet? I want one that I can draw on directly.

Standard brand used by most artists is Wacom. I have one, they live up to the hype and are worth the expense. I've had mine for 10 years now, but I don't use it every day. A friend who is a professional artist goes through one every five years or so but keeps buying them because they keep working right up to the end.

I use a tablet PC, a Samsung Series 7 Slate. It uses Wacom technology, like Herpy said, Wacom is good.

everyone wants one they can "draw on directly" though 90% of tablets don't work that way. There are Cintiq models, the smaller is 1K and the larger is 2K. Other brands don't have the reputation Wacom does so while it's possible you can find a third party brand for less, it won't be the same quality.
