Okay, this is going to weird some people out, but there is a grain of truth in this.

When a person looks at another person with the idea that they should check them out, their eyes follow a specific pattern. It's been scientifically determined that the usual pattern is looking at the other individual's eyes first, then the chest area, then the groin, and then possibly the rear end and the legs. Should anybody find out that the first look was pleasant, the pattern may repeat itself. Afterwards, if the two people find each other attractive, they may subconsciously echo each other's body language. This process is called "mirroring". Also, some folks may fuss with their hair, and/or lick their lips.
