How people never seem to pay when they get out of a cab. Sure, they could have paid before, but in most cases, it doesn't seem that they do?

How a lot of - epspecially teen - writers don't understand alcohol. You can often see people getting tipsy from a sip of beer in one scene and go off to chug a whole bottle of hard liquor in the next.

Lovebites that pierce the skin like butter, especially in the neck area. Humans don't have very sharp teeth. If you wanted to actually break the skin on the neck or shoulder with your teeth, you'd have to bite down so hard that it definitely wouldn't be sexy anymore. Visible marks? Sure. Breaking the skin? Not that easy.

Also the old "pressing your fingernails so hard into the palm of your hands that it starts bleeding". That isn't all that easy to do, either.
