Isn't that what the show does? Sam is always getting into shit and Dean has to do something to save him.

Some people need one of their OTP to be a woobie. Even if he's a tall, hulking, brilliant, aneurysm-faced, muscular, monster-slaying woobie with bad hair. It puzzles me as well and it put me off Wincest since it's so prevalent and so OOC.

Although it is true Dean babies Sam in terms of protecting him. But Sam hates it. And tries to baby Dean right back. lol.

He's our Sasquatch in distress. D'awww!

My brain mashed that up with the Doctor Who single "Doctor in Distress." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJIDFsJE8GA The resulting mental images are ... wrong, yet enetertaining.

But secret!OP, how in the world will they get their rocks off if Sam isn't written as a one dimensional, pale, slim, willowy, overdependent simpering uke stereotype? D:

I agree that one dimensional is annoying. But the way you've written the secret makes it sound like you think being submissive or needy and all those other things are contradictory. A character can be submissive and still badass. I don't think Sam is submissive, but there is nothing wrong with interpreting him that way.

...This is tangentially related, but the way you styled those descriptors reminds me of Tumblr back in 2011, when the Supernatural fandom was peaking

And Dean!girls do it with Dean in triplicate. Your point?
