Ooooh man...who's that lady who wrote a bunch of crazy fantasy involving dragons and dudes and thinks being penetrated anally turns a guy gay?

........in my head these are connected but good god I could be very far off the mark and if so I sincerely apologize

da

No no you are thinking Anne McCaffery and the Dragons of Pern and her 1. accidentally canon gay blue & green dragon riders and 2. tentpeg wank.

Diane was the one that flipped the fuck out at the idea of people writing porn fic of her precious babies, or something like that.

Well, that's because her male protag is based on her husband and it weirds her out to see people writing porn of him.

Which, for fuck's sake, lady.

Except he's also partially based on Jamie McCrimmon (played by Fraser Hines), the companion to the Second Doctor.

The hypocrisysauce makes the wank extra delicious.

This is so hilarious because I remember there being plenty of smut in the books, so basically, she wrote porn about her own husband and published it for all the world to see. That's... not exactly better lol

To be fair, she never used the word rape. She compared it to seducing her husband and then to selling her children into "white slavery" and never seemed to understand why people would have a problem with the connotations of specifying white slavery.
