Thanks. The things you mentioned (Bob's comment, and my mom saying I'm just as bad as racists) probably bother me the most. The thing is, I'm not trying to change anyone, but the fact that my parents continue to be friends with these people knowing they're racist makes it seem like my parents condone racism, and that disappoints me. That's all I'm saying.

I would be disappointed as well, tbh. But at the end of the day it is their problem. I would ask your mom to stick up for you if Bob pulls a stunt like that again, but to the extent it doesn't involve you, you have to accept other peoples' shortcomings.
