Um, not even a used/refurbished iPod?

For just approximately 30 US dollars, you could buy a 2 GB iPod shuffle or something similar at Amazon.com, for instance. I don't know which make or model MP3 player you would prefer, but unless there is a bitter exchange rate problem where you live, I'm sure there are options.

Maybe there's a reasonable way to get a good cell phone that can somehow store and play back your favorite tunes?
