Oh of course. And that's the entire point. It's still parody, but it's using the main characters as the vehicle for that parody... in much the same way Little Britain will pull out various caricatures of British stereotypes for comedic commentary.

Doesn't mean it's not progressive, exactly. It's just not a PC kind of progressive.

Little Britain was piece transphobic filth that is directly responsible for many hideous physical attacks on trans people.

It has also contributed, via that motherfucking stupid fake-disabled and carer sketch, to some of the worst and most crippling attacks on the disabled by governments.

I will hear no good of it or its creators, Walliams in particular is still deeply transphobic in his works and characters even when he tries not to be.
