RIGHT?! I mean, I've got nothing against abandoning faith, but this has to be one of the dumbest, most ill-informed reasons I've ever seen.

As someone who's made the same journey from Christianity to atheism, the first things that started me questioning weren't necessarily the "best" questions to be asking. My objections could be, and were, answered -- but the answers led to more questions.

Really, it was the act of questioning itself that was the most important thing. Once I started asking the questions, I was on the path.
