This!

Before I got treatment, I believed that stupid impulse. That the world would be much better without me in it.

Now that I'm in therapy and have back up meds, I'm horrified at how close I came to dying thanks to the lies my messed up brain wiring keeps trying to feed me. Because of that yes, I'm still suffering from depression, but it's easier to keep the suicidal ideation's "voice" down at a murmur or whisper instead of constantly trying to off myself.

I agree with euthanasia for people who cannot bear their suffering anymore, but blanket saying that "anyone who wants to commit suicide should be able to, no questions asked" I think is dangerous and unhelpful.
