One of my coworkers is from Ghana and I always love hearing about the parties they throw.

They have a traditional "outdooring ceremony" which happens after a christening where they debut the new baby. The party starts at 9PM, but no one shows up until 11 and they party all night and I think it's a great way to keep the community together.
