Hey, don't feel bad about that. Losing weight is hard even for people in relatively good mental health, and it gets even harder when you don't have support and can't find motivation.

Try to take advantage of the medical resources available to you. See a dietician for instance, or see a physiotherapist to find out what kind of exercises you can do if you have limited mobility due to diabetes. If you just look at the big picture this sort of thing can be paralyzing.

Your next assignment shouldn't be "lose 10lbs" it should really be "find out what small steps you should be taking right now to facilitate that long term goal".
