08. Judging by my professor who regularly uses episodes of Buffy to display a philosophical point… you’re not.

09. I don’t know what comm you’re talking about, but I see the problem. Many times people create communities not because they want to encourage the fandom, but to ensure attention and BNF status.

14. I love her hard, seriously. Of course, I’m also the anti-fan, in that I usually give female characters way more of a break than male ones, probably because I expect the backlash that’s been in every damn fandom I’ve observed, and I’m just contrary this way. I don’t like the way the show is handling her bisexuality (being bisexual doesn’t mean you don’t fit into any category, bisexual is a category), but that’s writer-wise, not characterization. Honestly, I’m more excited for the new fellows than I ever were for the old ducklings. Now that’s real fandom blaspheme.

40. Yes. In fact, I wish I could finish my own Static Shock fan fic, which I abandoned around the same time. But mostly, I’m just terrified of someone else taking over Through a Glass, Darkly, like her other story. That was just… no.

50. Well, I don’t hate her at all. But her comment, "I’m smarter than most brunettes!" made me chuckle. While I don’t doubt her intelligence... shouldn't she wait until she has more on her belt than a hit TV show and the hostility of Japan before making statements like that?

Are you implying that Through a Glass, Darkly might be finished by someone else? Well, if it is, I wish the new author luck and just hope it, um, how should I say this? Continues with the initial style.

Or if you're referring to abandoning fic, dude, I know, right? I actually started my next chapter again two years later. But then I took a break again. Several months ago.
