I'm not going to order something if I have no clue on when it'll be available. Some of those titles have been 'Out of Stock' for quite a while now. I know for a fact that the mangas, Clover and Duklyon have been out for well over a year and I check on a regular basis.

If copies don't exist, people can't buy them.

A manga being out of print is different then it being out of stock (And I know for a fact Clover is out of print. IDK about Duklyon but I'm pretty sure it is)

I think that's a little different then downloading a volume of Naruto. Anyone who would hold you getting something out of print against you is...ridiculous.

Woah, that YnM box is WAAAAAAY overpriced.

Yeah. Given the quality of the translation, the age, and size of the series, that price is just way too much. =(

But then, that's the a good example of one of the bigger problems of the american anime industry, I guess. Even fans of a series look at the prices and quality and say that it's just too overpriced for them to justify buying it.

Overstock.com used to have it for less than the price of ONE dvd. Now, since that set is supposedly out of print, it's not there. :/

Ok, just because they arent on that website doesnt mean they arent any around. ANYWHERE. I know for a fact I have seen the Naruto uncut boxes at so many book stores its not even funny. Ever go to a place like Suncoast ( though I know they are rare ) or an anime store near you? There are plenty of copies available else where, this comment is pure ignorance.

The thing is not everyone lives near an anime store (I don't know what Suncoast is). There is none around here.

And in the past when people have said they can't just go to a store and buy anime they get told to order it online. But now I've provided multiple links to the two biggest stores in Canada that prove buying anime online isn't as easy as it seems.

So if people can't buy anime in stores and they can't order it online, how the hell are they suppose to buy it?

Oh, and also, while I'm not sure about amazon.com, rightstuf does ship to Canada.

Just because a site ships to Canada doesn't mean it's always a reasonable solution. I personally hate ordering online from companies I know nothing about, especially when the company is in another country. Even if it meant spending more money I'd rather go with places that I've dealt with in the past.

And for the record, I do buy anime. Some on that list I already own because I knew what would happen if I didn't buy it quick enough.

So you say "well they dont have copies for me to buy, its not available." but then go on to say you dont order online because you dont like ordering from companies out of canada? Rightstuf and amazon are both very reputable sellers, youre kind of just thinking up excuses now.

I do understand your concern in not buying stuff from sites you know nothing about. I almost used a site that had an entire section consisting out of bootlegs. But then, when in doubt, use the wonderful tool that is the Internet to ask around and see if anyone has any experiences to share when it comes to those stores.

By the way, just FYI: rightstuf is extremely reliable, they even license some anime themselves. So you're definitely clear on that one.
