8. I grew out of it, as well. To the point that I never even bothered catching up on the series after about season 4.

I didn't either. Like I said above, it wasn't the same after they graduated, and the further I got from being a high schooler myself the less I could relate. And then I look around at people five, ten, sometimes twenty years my senior who still go on about how much they identify with the characters and their lives, and I kinda feel alone.
