Just to address the concerns of a few people, I don't think medication fixes everything, or even a vast majority of things. Hell, I don't think half the people on medication today actually need it. That's my IRL peeve.

My fandom peeve is that doing that seems like simplifying things to the point of making them lose their appeal.

Perhaps, but every time someone says that I get my hackles up on account of I don't need my medication either. I just like being able to have a sane life without hitting people.
