Re: What fandoms do you write for? What fandoms do you read for?

Tolkien and some small fandoms. I'm thinking about dipping my toes into Star Wars and I have some Supernatural drawer fic that I'm going to post someday but so far the only thing I've posted is for Tolkien and tiny fandoms. I also have a mega crossover fic that features a lot of procedurals like NCIS, CSI, etc. and I have no idea how to post that one so anyone would read it.

For reading, Star Wars, Tolkien, and a lot of obscure fandoms. I don't read as much as I used to. I used to read a lot of Supernatural a few years ago.

For the mega-crossover...you post, say what it's about and list the fandoms? I don't really see the problem...

The problem is that this fic is close to a million words and there are dozens and dozens of fandoms and even more pairings. It would be a wall of tags, and I know people hate those. And it's not like I can pare it down to the fandoms I use the most because I have at least one character from each fandom who plays a major role. And that's not even getting to the warnings, kinks, etc. I know if it was me, I'd scroll past it.

nyart, but is it possible to split up for each fandom and post it like a series on AO3?

No, it's not that kind of story. It's one long plot, and it wouldn't make any sense in smaller sections. It certainly wouldn't be satisfying. Plus, the characters from the different fandoms constantly interact with each other.
